My journey started with a spark of curiosity that grew into a deep passion.

Hi, I’m Eunmi Lee! 🤗
I’m a Korean American based in the DC Metropolitan Area. I began my career as an elementary education teacher. Being an educator was more than just a job for me; it was an invaluable experience. I built meaningful relationships with my students, witnessed their curiosity and excitement as they grasped new concepts, and designed engaging learning experiences.

Throughout my teaching career, I developed essential skills such as empathy, adaptability, collaboration, and a growth mindset (the power of “yet”). My passion for creating differentiated resources and incorporating digital tools to meet my students’ diverse needs ignited my curiosity about UX design. I aspired to go beyond the classroom and create intuitive and inclusive systems that empower users to achieve their objectives.

In July 2024, after 10 years, I began an exciting journey into UX design by enrolling in the UX Design Bootcamp program through CareerFoundry. I gained hands-on experience in user research, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing. This experience also allowed me to transfer my strengths to skills like journey mapping, accessibility design, and iterative design processes.

When I’m not designing, I enjoy binge-watching cheesy K-dramas, exploring new foodie adventures, traveling the world to experience different cultures, and playing with my silly dog who somehow always finds trouble.

Let’s create empathy-driven, user-centered solutions that make a difference!
